Returns and Refunds
Beauty products are not returnable due to the consumable nature of the products. However we do offer replacements in certain cases listed below.
In case of manufacturing defect:
If you find products that have a manufacturing defect, we request you to send an image of the product from all the angles with the batch number visible on firstname.lastname@example.org. In such cases, we offer a 100% Free Replacement of the product without any shipping charges to you. (If you have ordered multiple products and only 1 of them as a manufacturing defect then, only that product will be replaced for you.)
In case of damages during transportation:
Due to the nature of business, in e-commerce there are chances that the product has been damaged during transit.
A. Zero Level Damage:
While we try our level best to ensure that your order reaches you in the perfect condition, some damages do happen in transit. However these damages do not necessarily change the efficacy of the products you ordered. If there are damages to the main shipping box or minimal intensity dents on the product bottles, no replacement are currently available.
B. Low Level Damage:
- In case the shrink of the product has been broken during transit, no refund/replacement is offered.
- In case the pump/cap/dropper is damaged during transit, we will create a replacement order for that specific broken part.
- In case the outer carton of the product is dented, no refund/replacement is available.
C. Medium Level Damage:
- The broken cap or pump has result into significant leakage of the product and detrimental to the product usage experience, we will immediately create a 100% Free replacement of that specific product to you.
D. High Level Damage:
- The product and the shipping box arrived in a very poor and significantly damaged condition. The products are leaking and due to the liquid nature have, damaged the box and other products, we shall issue a full refund on a case to case basis. However, a full replacement is guaranteed.
We do not accept returns for any beauty products apart from Manufacturing Defects. If there is any defect you need to inform it to us by sending an email on email@example.com or calling our call-centre within 24 hours of receiving & accepting the product. We believe in complete customer satisfaction, and any product which you have received in a damaged condition due to transportation or manufacturing defect can either be replaced or refunded. Replacements requests will be carefully considered by our customer service team. How long will the return process take?
Once your return request has been placed with Customer Service, it usually takes about 72 hrs to have the product picked from your place and another 4 days to initiate refund subject to product inspection. In case you are sending the product back on your own, the delivery time would depend on your chosen courier. Once the item is received in our warehouse, it undergoes a Product Inspection which takes about 2 days. Typically the refunds are initiated within 2 days after product inspection. The receipt of the refund would depend on the mode of payment chosen by you.
How do I return a product?
If for any of our mistake the product has to be returned (like damaged in transportation or manufacturing defect) we will schedule a pickup using our logistics partner, and get it picked up at our cost. Please make sure the product is sealed properly. You can schedule a pickup using our logistics partner, at our cost, by emailing us at email@example.com.
The cases under which we refund orders are very minimum. If need be, typically, the refunds are initiated within 2 days of Product Inspection. Receipt of the refund would depend on the mode of payment chosen by you. For Debit Card and Credit Card transfers the time taken for refund depends finally on the bank. Though we would love to expedite the same, our hands are tied. Also, you can assume additional delay for nationalised banks. Expected timeline of refunds takes 5-7 days.
Orders not placed on stdvence.com
Orders that are not placed on www.stdvence.com are not eligible for returns and/or refunds. Only and only those orders placed on stdvence.com will be considered for returns/refunds depending upon the facts of the case.
We request customers to contact the customer support teams of the channel (including but not limited to Amazon India, Amazon US, Amazon UAE, Flipkart, Nykaa, BigBasket, Purplle, offline store etc ) through which the actual purchase was made for better and faster support.
You can also get in touch with our Customer Care team with your order number to raise a cancellation request. Cancellation duration takes typically one day after confirming cancellation by calling by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your order has been dispatched but yet to be delivered, please do not accept delivery and contact Customer Care to inform them of the same. In case of Prepaid orders Refunds will be processed as per our Return policies.
